Leaking flat roofs are a dire problem in South Africa, where professionals and contractors are faced with the dilemma of leaking flat roofs or low sloped roofs due to pooling of water and ineffective waterproofing.
Balconies are one of the most common sources of water leaks which can lead to structural damage. The biggest problem being most waterproofing products can't withstand movement and cracks in the substrate.
Waterproof Lab has partnered with Firestone BPE to exclusively offer RubberGard™ EPDM. EPDM membrane is long-lasting, durable, dimensionally stable and resistant to punctures, tears and chemicals.
EDPM RubberGard™ is a great product waterproof foundations. In this photo we used a 1.14m EPDM, protected it with layer of Geotextile and landfilled against the wall again.
Besides the obvious aesthetic benefits, roof planting may provide the building with insulation, temperature control and architectural enhancement for wildlife and recreational opportunities.
Waterproof Lab has a system to regenerate most asbestos roofs. The system allows for a waterproofing warranty that can outlive the life of most buildings.

Leaking Box Gutters in commercial buildings can be a real problem to tenants and Landlords. Waterproof Lab Gutter Seal is rubber membrane that is cut out to the length and width of the gutter and adhered with bonding adhesive to the full length and width of gutter.
